Superintendent annual income.

Yes, it is a matter of public record that I have been given a raise the generally exceeds the annual starting salary of most teachers. Isn't it great that the present school board realizes the value of my Masters degree?

You have got to be kidding me. This can't be right. Don't most schools hire starting teacher with a Bachelors but require them to get a Masters in order to continue the employment? Then they would have to get Doctorate to be the head of Administration? Maybe I'm wrong but I would think that it's logical to require a Superintendent who is incharge of a $30 million to have a Doctorate.

I had no idea that the BOE was giving Mike this type of salary. I hope the new BOE takes a close review of this. It may not be able to recind the salary but they should at least expect him to have a Doctorate. Why doesn't he live here and have his children attend school here?

You have got to be kidding. I heard last week that his son has an all expense education at college. He doesn't even live in this district and his kids go to Palmrya instead of riding to Midlakes with daddy. What a joke of our board to offer him that type of money.
